The Hostel Huauki is reformed from a restaurant on January in 2006 by an Ecuadorian artist who have much experience in travel and tourism. Huauki means "brother" in Quichua which is the indigenous language of Ecuador . We try to conserve the interior antique furniture in the house for guest to feel what Ecuador is. We would like to let guests feel their home away from home. The house was built in 1940. The house remained beautifully until now. The house is designated as a historical building of Quito by the municipality of Quito City. The hostel is located in the center of the new town, La Mariscal , near to everything such as very good restaurants, museums, bars, and airport. Also the hostel is located at nice quiet area so that the guests stay herel calm and safely. 24 hours securely open!!
